As a parent you would for certain know that very few things in life that is worthwhile, comes easy. The more important something is, the more people are prepared to sacrifice. On the other hand, being at home with your child will create a very strong bond that you might never have had if the circumstances were different. Nobody can argue against the value of that.
Suddenly being solely responsible for the education of a child can be an overwhelming feeling. If you don’t have any teaching experience it can even be worse. That doesn’t mean that the parent without teaching experience can’t become an excellent tutor for a child. It is very important to know exactly what and how you are going to do it. Luckily, there are so many support groups, online courses and resource material that this doesn’t have to be a problem.
If this it thought through well and you know what is best for you and your child, it can be a very exiting time for both of you where every disadvantage can be turned into an advantage.
