Designing lesson plans for each and every subject your child will be educated in, can be a very time consuming effort. Some people have very specific ideas on how and what they want to teach and might not want to use other people’s ideas. Even so, perusing some ready made lesson plans will be of help and you can still create your own from the ideas used in these lesson plans.
Parents and Support groups
An ideal method to find free lesson plans is to exchange with other parents in your area. Parents who have already created lesson plans for a specific grade or subject might be willing to let you use it. You can also work in a group with other parents where each parent can design lesson plans for a specific subject and then make them available to the other parents. Support groups might have lesson plans available that they are prepared to share with the members of their group.
Free Online Lesson Plans
Sites selling educational material sometimes have free lesson plans available that you can download or copy from their website. They use this as a form of advertising to draw customers to their sites. There are also sites that focus on free curriculum programs and lesson plans that you can download or copy.
